Training

trainingLogging the daily sessions for each player in the club is a key aspect of the Coaching Data system.

Having worked with football coaches and fitness staff in a Premiership football club, we have designed a user friendly way to staff to log their sessions. Using a series of tick boxes and drop down lists, it can take as little as 90 seconds to log a football training session with your squad.

With up to 600 different possible options of football drills already in the Coaching Data system, football coaches could begin to use the system immediately on installation. They can add their own particular types of sessions and drills to the system also, with the option to save their favourite sessions and recall them again at anytime.

With over 70 different types of fitness training sessions, warm ups and cool downs, fitness training staff can also begin using the Coaching Data system immediately.

It is possible to create customised reports to analyse the sessions being held with each player and squad, examining the number of passing, shooting, crossing drills etc. In particular for academy coaches, the reasons players miss training can be analysed and used in feedback sessions with players/parents.

As the Coaching Data system will be used by coaches in the club from the U-9 team to the 1st team, its possible to create a database of preferred drills that all coaches should be encouraged to use. This could be a key step in developing a club-wide coach education policy for your club.
