The Academy section of the Coaching Data system could stand alone as a player management system for an academy.

There is an Admin component which allows academy staff to record all personal details for its players such as name, address, parents details etc. A mail merge option is available so that letter writing to any group of people can be easily managed. For Scholars, their ‘Digs’ location can be stored, and schools information can be recorded for all other players.

Each development or satellite centre that the club has can be inputted, as well as all the players and their contact details who attend weekly training sessions at these centres. Attendance record sheets for all development centres can be recorded, thereby ensuring that quality players don’t slip through the net unnoticed.

There is an extensive recruitment section, which allows scouting reports for young players to be recorded and analysed. Key player targets can be monitored and the head of academy recruitment can ensure that these players continue to be watched regularly.

All matches played by academy teams can be recorded, as well as team sheets and scorers. Any testing such as skills analysis can also be inputted.
